ABOUT US
Tameka McNair and Kelly Snyder collaborated together to start the first annual Women IN Energy Conference in 2017. The idea started with a spark over lunch in Carmel, Indiana after the two connected for the first time. They were immediately drawn to the strength, courage, and innovative ideas they both had. Tameka and Kelly wanted to encourage women to go after their dreams and to be connected in the industry. The two started a planning committee sourced from ACES, Duke Energy, AES, EDP Renewables, MISO, and Parr Richey. The companies came together to successfully plan an outstanding annual conference!
