Sarah Freeman was appointed by Governor Mike Pence as Commissioner on September 19, 2016, and was most recently reappointed by Governor Eric Holcomb on December 20, 2021. Commissioner Freeman is a member of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) and serves on the NARUC Committee on Telecommunications. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Universal Service Administrative Company, chairs the MISO Advisory Committee, is a member of the Electric Power Research Institute Advisory Council, Vice Chair of the Financial Research Institute Advisory Council at the University of Missouri, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Organization of MISO States. She is past President of the Mid-America Regulatory Conference.

Morgan Schadegg

​Morgan is constantly looking for ways to make a process more efficient and more effective. As a chemical engineer, Morgan found her way into the most misunderstood energy source: nuclear power. She helps keep nuclear power plants compliant by providing daily analysis on industry regulatory issues. She is using innovative technology to develop training for reducing the industry-wide problem of knowledge transfer. She has managed a multitude of systems such as water treatment and security, and Morgan created a program for how the utility should oversee obsolete parts to decrease risk of costly, emergent procurement.
